Earlier in July, a viral video from Bengaluru sparked widespread criticism on social media, where a group of bikers were seen allegedly blocking the path of an ambulance and performed dangerous stunts on a busy road. The bikers blocked the stretch between Goragungtepalya and the Yeshwanthpur area.

The ambulance was carrying a patient who needed urgent medical treatment and was moving with its siren on. However, five to six bikers occupied the road, even after repeated honking of the hospital vehicle.

The video captured bikers moving ahead of the ambulance with none of the pillion riders wearing helmets. The patient was seen lying inside the ambulance. The entire episode was captured on the ambulance driver’s mobile phone. The ambulance driver said the vehicle was transporting a patient during an emergency when four youths allegedly began performing wheelies in front of the ambulance and refused to make way.
