- Kejriwal to march to PM's residence on August 4.

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal has announced a march to the Prime Minister's residence on August 4 in protest against the ethanol blending. The former Delhi CM has announced that he will submit a petition containing online signatures of 2,00,000 people to PM Narendra Modi.
He said that at 12 noon on Tuesday, he would leave with 100 supporters to meet the Prime Minister. Only those who are not afraid of beatings and jail time will accompany him.
Speaking at the National Townhall Against E20 held at the Constitution Club on Saturday, Kejriwal said that a few days ago, citizens were appealed to sign an online petition addressed to the Prime Minister, which has been signed by over two lakh people so far.
During this time, Kejriwal placed three key demands before the central government regarding E-20. He reiterated his demands to provide a pure petrol alternative to E-20 at all petrol pumps, to keep the price of E-20 petrol lower than pure petrol, and to bring the price of petrol below Rs 84 per liter. Kejriwal also cited the trade deal between India and the United States as the reason behind the implementation of E-20 petrol.

AAP claims that more than 7,00,000 people from across the country participated in the event online. A voice imitator of the Prime Minister was seated on stage with Kejriwal, with whom he engaged in a question-and-answer session.
"There is no need for everyone to come along. I will take 100 people with me who are not afraid of police batons. I will take 100 people with me who are not afraid of going to jail. Those who wish to join should write to me, tag me and send me a message. We will take 100 people with us, march toward the Prime Minister's residence, and then see what happens," he said.
He also urged citizens to halt purchasing vehicles until vehicles compatible with E100 are manufactured in the country.
"I appeal to the people of my country to stop buying petrol and diesel vehicles. Until E100 vehicles start being manufactured in the country, do not buy a vehicle. This government will ruin you," he said on X.
