Outgoing Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar held a massive rally in Bhagalpur’s Baijani as part of his ongoing Samriddhi Yatra, following his recent victory in the Rajya Sabha elections. At the conclusion of the program, he called Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary and Water Resources Minister Vijay Chaudhary to the stage, raised their hands, and delivered a clear message of unity.

The leaders urged the public to support the government in advancing development activities across Bihar. As soon as the two leaders appeared, the crowd erupted into enthusiastic chants of “Samrat Chaudhary Zindabad,” signaling strong support.

The display of camaraderie at the rally could be a key indicator of future leadership dynamics in Bihar, with many viewing Samrat Chaudhary as a potential future Chief Minister, while Vijay Chaudhary is also emerging as a prominent figure in state politics. The event is being interpreted as a signal of unity within the current government.

Addressing a gathering in Baijani, Nitish Kumar listed the state government's achievements and launched a scathing attack on the Opposition. He said that some people had previously held power but did no concrete work. When they stepped down, they promoted their relatives.

The Chief Minister said that while there used to be an atmosphere of fear and chaos in the state, the situation has now completely changed. Law and order has strengthened, and people from all walks of life feel a sense of security.

He also highlighted rapid progress made in basic sectors such as health, education, and roads. New medical colleges have opened, hospital facilities have been improved, and road connectivity has been established to every village.

Referring to the electricity system, he said that electricity has now reached every village and many schemes are being implemented to provide relief to the people. The government is continuously making efforts to provide employment to the youth and will continue to provide opportunities on a large scale in the future.
