- New weekly Amrit Bharat Express between Old Delhi and Gorakhpur.
- Service commences August 27 from Gorakhpur, August 28 from Delhi.
- Offers sleeper and general coaches for convenient travel options.
The Railways is set to introduce a new weekly Amrit Bharat Express between Old Delhi and Gorakhpur, offering another travel option for passengers travelling between Delhi and eastern Uttar Pradesh. The train will also benefit passengers heading to Basti, Gonda and Bareilly.
The new service will add to the existing Amrit Bharat Express routes, including:
- Anand Vihar-Darbhanga
- New Delhi-Rajendra Nagar Terminal (Patna)
- Anand Vihar-Chhapra
- Anand Vihar-Howrah
- Old Delhi-Gaya
The Gorakhpur-Old Delhi Amrit Bharat Express (15095/15096) will begin operations from August 27. The train will leave Gorakhpur every Thursday at 10:45 pm and reach Old Delhi at 12:50 pm the following day.
Return Journey From Old Delhi
On the return journey, the train will depart from Old Delhi at 2:10 pm on Friday, August 28, and reach Gorakhpur at 6:30 am the next morning.
The service will run through several important stations, including:
- Khalilabad
- Basti
- Gonda
- Burhwal
- Sitapur
- Bareilly
- Moradabad
- Ghaziabad

The new Amrit Bharat Express will have sleeper and general coaches. The service is expected to provide a more convenient travel option for passengers travelling between Delhi, Gorakhpur and other cities along the route.
