NEET-UG 2026 Paper Leak Case: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has found that the leaked NEET-UG 2026 question paper reached Rajasthan through an accused named Yash Yadav.

According to an NDTV report, students were charged between Rs 2 lakh and Rs 5 lakh for the leaked paper.

Investigations further revealed that Yadav was an associate of Vikas Bival. According to the probe, Vikas's father, Dinesh Bival, scanned a hard copy of the paper and converted it into a PDF. The accused then handwrote the questions before distributing them to students at coaching centres in Rajasthan's Sikar district.

CBI Intensifies Probe Into NEET-UG 2026 Paper Leak

As part of the investigation, the accused were produced at the magistrate's residence in Jaipur, late Wednesday night, for judicial proceedings. The CBI has also questioned the owners and employees of several coaching institutions.

Details regarding the accused's background have also surfaced. Yash Yadav, who allegedly facilitated the transport of the paper to Rajasthan, turned to these illicit activities after failing to pass the exam himself. He holds a Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) degree. Meanwhile, another accused, Shubham, has denied allegations identifying him as the mastermind behind the paper leak.
