Bihar Weather: The Patna Meteorological Centre has issued the latest bulletin regarding monsoon activity in Bihar. Light to moderate rainfall has been recorded in many parts of the state over the past 24 hours. Katihar received the maximum rain during this period. The Meteorological Department has issued a warning for heavy rain and thunderstorms in several Bihar districts for Friday.

Yellow Alert In THESE Districts

According to the Meteorological Department, a yellow weather alert has been issued for several districts in Bihar. During this period, heavy rain is likely at isolated places in Araria, Banka, Katihar, Purnia, Kaimur, and West Champaran. In addition, a warning has been issued for gusty winds with a speed of 30-40 kmph in the districts of northwest, north-central, northeast, and southeast Bihar. Thunderstorms and lightning are also forecast during this time.

Weather In Patna And Surrounding Districts

According to the Meteorological Department, light rain is expected at one or two locations in Patna, Nalanda, Jehanabad, Gaya, Nawada, Lakhisarai, Sheikhpura, and Begusarai districts.

Bihar Temperature

As per weather, there will be no significant change in the state's maximum and minimum temperatures for the next two to three days. Daytime maximum temperatures are expected to hover around 32 degrees Celsius to 34 degrees Celsius, and nighttime minimum temperatures are expected to hover around 26 degrees Celsius to 28 degrees Celsius.

Additionally, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an alert for heavy rain and thunderstorms across several regions today, July 30. 14 states, including Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, and Bihar, are expected to experience heavy rainfall accompanied by gusty winds of up to 60 km/h over the next few hours.
