Former CM Nitish Kumar Has Been Present
Former Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and his family members attended the housewarming ceremony. Nishant himself provided information about the housewarming ceremony.
Nishant Kumar's Residence Has A Special History
This residence at 5 Deshratna Marg was previously reserved for the deputy chief ministers. It was allotted to Tejashwi Yadav, Sushil Kumar Modi, Tarkishore Prasad, and then again to Tejashwi, and Samrat Choudhary, respectively.
This is the first time a minister has been allotted this residence since 2015. However, he will not be staying overnight there and will remain in his father Nitish's official residence.
Rabri Devi Performs Housewarming At Her Private Residence
On the other hand, former chief minister Rabri Devi performed housewarming rituals at her private residence in Kautilya Nagar. The Satyanarayana mantra was recited at the new house. Several RJD leaders, including Lalu Prasad Yadav and Tejashwi Yadav, were present.
Government Residence To Be Vacated By July 7
Meanwhile, Devi has been living in government residence number 10 on Circular Road since 2005, which she will have to vacate by July 7, an extended deadline given by the state government. Her belongings are being moved to other residences, while some items have also been sent to Tejashwi Yadav's government residence on Polo Road. Painting work is currently underway at the government residence allotted to her on Harding Road. Earlier, she had refused to vacate the government bungalow, escalating the matter. However, she later softened her stand and started taking her items away from the house.
