Bengaluru: Live-In Partner Slits 22-Year-Old Girlfriend's Throat; Shocking Motive Emerges

In a shocking incident, a 22-year-old woman in Karnataka's Bengaluru was killed by her boyfriend. The deceased woman has been identified as Ati Hungma Subba, a resident of Sikkim. While the accused has been identified as Purba Lepcha, who originally belonged to Darjeeling. Lepcha worked as a waiter at a hotel.

Shocking Motive Gets Revealed

Initial findings suggest that the two were in a romantic relationship and had come to Bengaluru about a month ago. Subba and Lepcha lived together in Doddakannahalli.

The cops said that the two had an altercation on Sunday morning as the boyfriend suspected Subba of having an affair. During the argument, Lepcha allegedly attacked Subba with a kitchen knife and slit her throat, resulting in her death.

At present, Bellandur police have registered a case and started further investigation into the incident.

In a separate incident, a husband In Madhya Pradesh assaulted his wife for not serving him food by hand. The man put an iron chain around her neck, locked it, tied it to a pillar, and then burnt her private parts using an iron rod. Somehow the woman cut the chain, reached the Khilchipur police station, and recited her ordeal. The police registered an FIR and arrested the husband.

The woman has been identified as Chhipipura resident Mangibai, wife of Sardar Singh Tanwar. “The husband and wife live alone in the house; they had a child who passed away 3-4 years ago. The husband is an alcoholic,” said Kamal Singh Gehlot, TI Khilchipur.

In another case, a man allegedly assaulted his wife, humiliated her, and held her hostage for hours inside their house. When the wife managed to escape to her parental home, he caught and stabbed her.

The accused, identified as Arbaaz Syed (25), is a history sheeter and confined his wife at home after an altercation. Syed threatened to kill her with a sword and had warned her of throwing acid on her face. The accused also forced the woman to stay in a rooster position for almost four hours.
