If there's one Kdrama genre I never get tired of, it's psychological thrillers. Netflix has an excellent collection of Korean thrillers that blend mystery, crime, suspense and emotional drama.

If you're looking for a series that will keep you hooked from the first episode, these are my top five psychological thriller Kdramas on Netflix that I would happily recommend to any binge-watcher.

Flower Of Evil (2020)

Cast: Lee Joon-gi, Moon Chae-won, Jang Hee-jin, Seo Hyun-woo

Plot: Baek Hee-sung appears to be the perfect husband and father, but he is hiding a dangerous secret from his detective wife. As she investigates a serial murder case, she slowly begins to question everything she knows about the man she married.

Why I Recommend It: This is one of the best psychological thrillers I have ever watched. Every episode ends with a twist, and the emotional performances make the story even more gripping. It keeps you guessing until the final episode.

Mouse (2021)

Cast: Lee Seung-gi, Lee Hee-joon, Park Ju-hyun, Kyung Soo-jin

Plot: A kind-hearted police officer becomes involved in a series of brutal murders linked to a psychopathic serial killer. As the investigation unfolds, shocking truths begin to change everything.

Why I Recommend It: If you enjoy unpredictable stories, Mouse is a must-watch. It constantly surprises viewers with unexpected revelations and has one of the most talked-about storylines in Korean television.

Beyond Evil (2021)

Cast: Shin Ha-kyun, Yeo Jin-goo, Choi Sung-eun, Choi Dae-hoon

Plot: Two detectives with very different personalities investigate a string of murders in a quiet town. As they search for the killer, both men become suspects in each other's eyes.

Why I Recommend It: I loved the slow-burning suspense and brilliant acting. Rather than relying on action, the series builds tension through its characters and psychological mind games.

Somebody (2022)

Cast: Kim Young-kwang, Kang Hae-lim, Kim Yong-ji, Kim Soo-yeon

Plot: A software developer creates a dating app that unknowingly connects users to a serial killer. As the mystery deepens, dangerous relationships begin to unfold.

Why I Recommend It: This drama feels dark, unsettling and different from typical thrillers. The psychological tension and unique storyline make it an unforgettable watch.

Mask Girl (2023)

Cast: Go Hyun-jung, Nana, Lee Han-byeol, Ahn Jae-hong, Yeom Hye-ran

Plot: A woman who feels insecure about her appearance secretly becomes an online masked streamer. Her double life soon leads her into a series of shocking crimes and dangerous situations.

Why I Recommend It: This series surprised me with its bold storytelling and unpredictable plot. Every episode reveals something new, making it impossible to stop watching.

Psychological thriller Kdramas are perfect if you enjoy stories that keep you thinking long after an episode ends. Whether you're new to Korean dramas or already a fan, I believe these shows deserve a place on your Netflix watchlist.
