Hamnet is all set for its OTT release in India. The movie received eight nominations at the 98th Academy Awards, including Best Picture, Best Director for Zhao, with Buckley winning the Academy Award for Best Actress. Here is when and where to watch Hamnet on OTT:

About Hamnet: Directed by Chloé Zhao and co-written with Maggie O'Farrell, Hamnet is a 2025 historical drama based on O'Farrell's 2020 novel. Starring Jessie Buckley and Paul Mescal alongside Emily Watson and Joe Alwyn, the film dramatizes how William Shakespeare and his wife Agnes cope with the tragic loss of their 11-year-old son.

After premiering at the 52nd Telluride Film Festival in August 2025, Focus Features gave the film a theatrical release later that year, followed by a UK release from Universal Pictures in January 2026.
The film earned widespread critical acclaim, particularly for Buckley's lead performance. It won Golden Globes for Best Motion Picture – Drama and Best Actress, and secured eight Academy Award nominations, including Best Picture, Best Director and a Best Actress win for Buckley.
