There are days when we feel tired of everything, and sometimes there is nothing better than watching a comforting web series. For those who want some fun content that will make them feel good and give them hope, these are my personal suggestions. From wholesome family dramas to feel-good romances, each series is sure to leave you smiling and feeling hopeful.
7 Feel Good Series To Watch After A Bad Day
Rural life drama Panchayat to family drama in small town such as Gullak, these seven Indian web series will help you to relax after an exhausting day of work.
1. Panchayat (2020–Present | Prime Video)
If I had to recommend just one comfort series, then it would definitely be Panchayat. This rural comedy-drama, captures village life beautifully with humour, simple emotions and memorable characters that make you smile instantly. Starring Jitendra Kumar as Abhishek Tripathi alongside Neena Gupta, Raghubir Yadav and Chandan Roy, this series has four released seasons with the fifth officially confirmed.
2. Yeh Meri Family (2018–Present | Amazon MX Player)
Yeh Meri Family is a nostalgic family drama set in the late 1990s starring Juhi Parmar, Rajesh Kumar, Hetal Gada and Angad Raj. The series celebrates childhood, the bond of siblings and everyday moments of family that make you feel happy through the eyes of young Harshu played by Angad Raj.
3. The Aam Aadmi Family (2016–2018 | Zee5)
The Aam Aadmi Family follows the everyday lives of the middle-class Sharma family with humour and warmth. Featuring Brijendra Kala, Lubna Salim, Chandan Anand, and Gunjan Malhotra, every episode highlights relatable family situations that feel both entertaining and comforting.
4. Permanent Roommates (2014–2016 | Prime Video)
Permanent Roommates is one of the most loved romantic comedies in India. Starring Sumeet Vyas as Mikesh and Nidhi Singh as Tanya, the series follows a couple as they navigate love, commitment and everyday relationship challenges with loads of humour and heartfelt moments.
5. College Romance (2018–2023 | Sony LIV)
If you love fun friendships then College Romance is a good pick. The cast includes Apoorva Arora, Keshav Sadhna, Gagan Arora, Shreya Mehta and Manjot Singh, and it depicts college life, first love, friends and youthful adventures with lots of laughter and relatable moments.
6. Little Things (2016–2021 | Netflix)
Little Things stars Mithila Palkar as Kavya and Dhruv Sehgal as Dhruv. It's not about the big twists and turns, it’s about the small moments that define relationships. It’s a perfect comfort watch, with its realistic storytelling, gentle humour and emotional warmth.
7. Gullak (2019–Present | Sony LIV)
Gullak centers on the Mishra family, which is portrayed by Harsh Mayar, Vaibhav Raj Gupta (replaced by Anant V Joshi in 5th season), Geetanjali Kulkarni, and Jameel Khan. With humor, poignant family moments, and realistic events, each episode masterfully captures middle-class living, leaving viewers grinning long after the credits have rolled.
