Allu Arjun recently found himself embroiled in a controversy after a viral podcast clip surfaced online claiming that there are 42 rules to follow before meeting the actor. The controversy involves brand manager Kaveri Baruah who made these claims about Pushpa 2 star and his team during a podcast. She alleged that there are 42 dos and don’ts before meeting him, including not looking him in the eye and not shaking hands with the actor. After these viral claims, Allu Arjun's team addressed the allegations, calling them untrue and baseless. They also stated that they are initiating defamation proceedings against those responsible.
What Did Brand Manager Say About Allu Arjun's 42 Rules?
On the Sweekriti Talks podcast, Kaveri Baruah, who reportedly worked in Royal Enfield's brand strategy team, made claims against Arjun and his entourage. She said, “My another interesting encounter was with Allu Arjun, the mega star of Hyderabad. South stars comes with entourage. Before meeting him, we had a note which had 42 dos and don’ts. And they have manager ka manager ka manager. They are very strict, like ‘don’t look into sir’s eyes, don’t shake your hands’.”
When asked about why such rules existed, she added, “Mere ko kya pata? That’s the rule. Aur nahi bataungi mai."

The clip quickly went viral and sparked online debate, with several users questioning the alleged restrictions and celebrity protocols, while others bashed Kaveri for making claims against Allu Arjun. Following the backlash, Kaveri deleted her Instagram and LinkedIn profiles. While her social media accounts appear to be deactivated, the viral podcast episode clips remain available online.

Allu Arjun's Reaction To 42 Rules Claims
Amid the growing chatter, Allu Arjun’s teamed issued an official statement on behalf of the actor on X, completely denying all the allegations. The post read, "Certain recent comments made about Mr. Allu Arjun are completely baseless and untrue. He has always conducted himself with the utmost dignity and honour. We take these false allegations seriously. Our legal team is initiating defamation proceedings against those responsible. We request everyone to refrain from spreading unverified information.”
