Toxic Trailer Release Date Out: The makers of Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups have officially announced the trailer release date of the much-awaited gangster drama. Starring Yash in the lead role, the film is now entering its promotional phase ahead of its worldwide theatrical release. Along with the announcement, the team also unveiled a new poster featuring the actor in a striking new look, creating excitement among fans eager to watch the trailer.
Yash’s Toxic Trailer To Release On August 8
The makers confirmed that the trailer of Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups will be released on August 8. However, the exact release time is yet to be revealed. Sharing a black-and-white poster on social media, Yash wrote, "The countdown has begun... #ToxicTrailer on 08-08-2026. #Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups In Cinemas Worldwide from 26-08-2026."
The latest poster shows Yash standing alone on a rain-soaked street at night, dressed in a long coat and hat while appearing to hold a gun. A grand trailer launch event is also expected to take place in Bengaluru.
Yash Says the Film Will Surprise Audiences
Earlier, while promoting *Ramayana* at San Diego Comic-Con 2026, Yash opened up about Toxic and shared why he is excited about the project.
He said, "I know this is a movie that will blow everybody's mind. It's like a roller-coaster ride—it's wild and unapologetic. But, at the same time, it's very deep as well. It may come across as something larger than life—that's it. That's the texture of the film. But, deep inside, it's a deep and emotional film. Anybody who is going to walk into theatres will get their mind blown while walking out. And they're going to go, 'What the hell was that?"

Yash Praises the Film's Action
Talking about the action scenes, Yash said he has always enjoyed action films and was excited while shooting Toxic. He said, "I love action. I am a fan of action movies, and whenever there's action, the kid in me is excited."
The actor also praised Hollywood stunt coordinator JJ Perry, known for John Wick, saying the action in Toxic is not just stylish but also closely connected to the film's emotions. Directed by Geetu Mohandas, the film also stars Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Tara Sutaria and Huma Qureshi, and is scheduled for a worldwide release on August 26, 2026.
