Marvel and Sony's Spider-Man: Brand New Day is enjoying a dream run at the global box office. Starring Tom Holland and Zendaya, the superhero film earned an impressive $1.155 billion worldwide within just seven days of release. With this, it overtook Disney's Toy Story 5 ($1.067 billion) to become the highest-grossing film of 2026. The film's record-breaking performance once again proves the worldwide popularity of the Spider-Man franchise.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day India Box Office Collection Day 8

The film is also performing exceptionally well in India, attracting huge crowds across the country. On its eighth day, Spider-Man: Brand New Day collected Rs 14 crore (net) from 16,447 shows nationwide. Its total India net collection has now reached Rs 334.50 crore, while the gross collection stands at Rs 399.97 crore. The movie also created history by registering the biggest opening ever for a Hollywood film in India, beating several previous records.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day Record-Breaking Performance Worldwide

The film has also set new milestones in North America and overseas markets. It has earned $449 million in North America and another $706.3 million from international territories. The movie recorded the biggest domestic opening in box office history with $360 million. Globally, its opening weekend collection of $932 million is now the second-highest opening ever, making it one of the biggest box office successes of all time.
