Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) recently took to Instagram to share a nostalgic moment that has sent fans into a frenzy. During a break in the IPL action against the Punjab Kings in Kolkata, Shah Rukh Khan and former India captain Sourav Ganguly were captured sharing a warm, emotional hug. The meeting carries significant weight for long-time fans, as Ganguly was KKR’s inaugural captain in 2008. After a brief hiatus from the leadership role in 2009, 'Dada' returned to lead the squad once more in 2010, cementing his legacy as a foundation of the franchise alongside SRK.

While the actual match was unfortunately called off due to rain, the video of the King of Bollywood and the Prince of Kolkata has more than made up for the lack of play. The clip is currently viral, with fans celebrating the enduring bond between the two icons despite the weather-shortened evening. The caption of the video read, "When the KING met the PRINCE OF BENGAL."
