Now, on the actor's birthday, the makers have unveiled the first glimpses. Directed by Thaai Kizhavi fame Sivakumar Murugesan, Seyon is touted as a rural entertainer rooted in Tamil culture and traditions. Here's everything you need to know about Sivakarthikeyan and Kamal Haasan’s Tamil movie and its expected storyline.

Sivakarthikeyan Channels Lord Virumandi In Seyon

On the occasion of Sivakarthikeyan's birthday, the makers treated fans to a celebration video introducing the characters and the theme of the film, which has created buzz after the first look poster unveiling.

The clip opens with an incident that takes place on the second day of the Maasi Kalari Festival at Karumathur Virumandi Temple. The scene shows the chaos two hours after a major scuffle at the festival. A group of people gather at the local police station and an inspector (Aruldoss) arrives following the clash.  A group of youngsters tell the inspector that someone attacked them after they flashed laser lights at the festival dancers, whereas a festival committee member reveals that the same person bashed them as well.

The inspector then asks a man why he was beaten. The man replied that he was asked about the play they planned to stage at the festival, and he had informed them that they would perform the devotional drama "Valli Thirumanam Sir", referring to Valli’s wedding to Lord Murugan. Another prisoner is heard saying, "He is not an atheist. In fact, he is the one who gets possessed by the divine spirit of Virumaandi." In the next scene, the inspector sees Sivakarthikeyan in a possessed state and folds his hands in prayer as a mark of respect. When questioned by his subordinate, the inspector explains, “This is Lord Virumandi.”
