Providing a health update, Dr Jalil Parkar, who is overseeing Salim Khan’s treatment, reassured fans that there was no cause for major concern. Speaking to the media on Wednesday, he revealed that the haemorrhage was minor and that the veteran writer is currently under close medical observation.

According to a report in Hindustan Times, Dr Jalil Parkar said, "There was minimal brain haemorrhage. A small procedure was done this morning and it was accomplished. He is fine and stable but is still on a ventilator. By tomorrow, hopefully, we will take him off the ventilator. All in all, he’s doing quite well. Keeping his age in mind, the recovery time is longer."

The doctor further stated that Salim Khan’s blood pressure levels were elevated at the time of admission and that he was experiencing mild jerks. He added that the medical team acted swiftly, ensuring that the veteran writer received immediate and appropriate care upon arrival at the hospital.
