MTV Splitsvilla 16 has been increasing its drama factor each time, but what really had social media talking was Gullu and Niharika's dramatic confrontation during an early dome session in the Paisa Villa. A heated argument that swiftly descended into one of the most contentious moments of the season, with fans split on who went too far. Asking whether the makers were biased, Ayush Jamwal addressed the matter in an interview with The Daily Jagran.

Ayush, a contestant on MTV Splitsvilla 16, mentioned the Gullu-Niharika controversy, admitting that he just watched the episode after leaving the show. Given how often the fight was being discussed online, he felt obliged to offer his viewpoint. He completely supported the filmmakers' choice to depict the incident in this manner, despite the fact that it appeared to favor Gullu.

Ayush Jamwal said,"Ek situation par log bohot comment karte hai woh jo Niharika-Gullu wala hua tha. Niharika kuch bol rahi thi, Gullu kuch bol raha tha. Mujhe aisa lagta hai ki woh theek tha. Woh Gullu ki side le rahi the show mein and woh side leni banti thi because Gullu ladka hai and Niharika usko gaali de rahi hai, woh cheez sunkar mujhe bhi bohot buri lag rahi thi."

Ayush Jamwal added, "And Gullu ne jese uss cheez ko handle kiya, matlab usn taunts maare, points maare par usne gaali nahi di. So I feel woh jo cheez dikhayi woh ekdum sahi dikhayi."

Ayush further emphasised that although Gullu used caustic remarks, such as referring to Niharika as a 'Sarojini ki model' and a 'nakli model', he avoided using derogatory language, which he claimed made a big difference. However, Niharika's comments were interpreted as being more hostile, which fueled the internet outrage. Since then, the conflict between the two competitors has resurfaced frequently in Splitsvilla 16.

For Ayush, recognising how the events transpired on the screen was important than mindlessly picking sides. He contended that context was significant, particularly in a show that is influenced by public opinion and perception, and that the makers or mischief makers had good reason to present the episode in this way.
