Popular South and Bollywood actress Rashmika Mandanna has reportedly suffered a serious injury while shooting an intense dance sequence for one of her upcoming films. According to reports, the actress sustained a major hip injury during filming and has been advised to take complete rest for six weeks. The unexpected incident is likely to delay her return to work as she focuses on recovery and rehabilitation before resuming her busy shooting schedule.

According to News 18 Telugu reports, Rashmika Mandanna got herself hurt due to the rigorous dancing routine she had to do in a film. The injury that she sustained is that of a completely torn tendon of her hip joint, which makes it a far more serious injury than previously anticipated.
It has been reported that the doctors have advised her to refrain from doing any kind of strenuous physical activity until she gets proper treatment. Hence, she will have to stay off work for the next six weeks.
Doctors Stress The Seriousness Of Injury
The injury is stated to be a rare one and uncommon according to the medical specialists who believe that this kind of an injury occurs generally among professional athletes. In their opinion, this injury indicates that actors have to bear a lot physically during the shooting of action and dance scenes.
According to reports, Rashmika will need a structured recovery plan to regain full strength before she resumes shooting. Doctors have emphasised that complete healing is important to avoid further complications.
Rashmika Mandanna's Upcoming Projects
Before the injury, Rashmika was busy with the preparation of her upcoming movies Ranabali and Mysaa. She had just begun the shooting process of Mysaa after getting married to actor Vijay Deverakonda.
The movie Mysaa is being directed by the debutant Ravindra Pulle and is under the production of the banner of Unformula Films. The movie Mysaa is expected to be an emotionally thrilling and action-filled movie based on the culture of the Gond tribe and Rashmika will be playing the role of a Gond woman in this movie.
Apart from Mysaa, Rashmika is expected to be seen alongside her husband, Vijay Deverakonda, in the movie titled Ranabali.
