Rajpal Yadav was visibly humiliated when well-known journalist turned host Saurabh Dwivedi took a jab against the actor's Rs 9 lakh cheque bounce issue at an award ceremony on Sunday. He stated that the borrowed money must be paid back in full, regardless of currency swings. The remark made everyone in the room chuckle. Initially hesitant, Rajpal Yadav later smiled at the remarks. The evening was also co-hosted by Sunil Grover, Alia Bhatt and Zakir Khan.

Rajpal Yadav's debt to his lenders was ridiculed by the former Lallantop editor. "Rajpal bhai, dollar kitna bhi upar-neeche ho jaye, aapko utne hi paise lautane padenge, jitne udhar hai."

Rajpal Yadav, who was visibly speechless at first, smiled a little and said, "Masla toh sun lo ek baar. Main toh masla hi sunana chahta hoon."

He recommended handling these conversations separately. The video quickly went viral, and most internet users were upset with the presenter for disparaging a veteran like Rajpal in front of the film community on a public platform.

Rajpal Yadav's ongoing debt case is still being discussed in court, and the viral moment has increased public interest in an already well-reported issue.

Rajpal Yadav Cheque Bounce Case

Rajpal Yadav's judicial case began in 2012. For his movie Ata Pata Lapata, he allegedly borrowed Rs 5 crore from a business called Murli Projects Private Limited. The actor suffered large financial losses as a result of the movie's dismal box office performance, which made it more difficult for him to pay back the debt. The sum reportedly rose to about Rs 9 crore as interest accumulated over time.

Rajpal Yadav is still involved in his career despite the legal issues. He is working on a number of projects, including the upcoming movie Bhoot Bangla, in which he will collaborate with celebrities like Akshay Kumar.
