Lock Upp 2 Latest Episode Highlights: In an emotional episode of Lock Upp: Sach Ya Sazaa, actor Harshad Chopda revealed a painful personal secret from his childhood. Speaking to his fellow inmates, the Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai star recounted being sexually abused as a child by a trusted figure, explaining why he has carried a fear of gay men throughout his life while clarifying that he holds no hatred towards the community.

Harshad Chopda Recounts Childhood Trauma on Lock Upp Season 2

Harshad Chopra got emotional as he described being targeted by someone trusted not just by his family, but by his entire local community. Reflecting on the traumatic incident, Harshad stated, "9-10 saal ka tha. Parents log me trust karte hai, bachon ko kabhi bahar dusre ke paas chod dete hai. Mere parents be bhi mujhe ek baar choda tha- trusted people ke yaha. Not only trusted by my family, but the entire community."

Harshad Chopra further added, "I was a shy and submissive kid. Main thoda sa dara-sehma bacha tha. Somebody was rubbing himself on me in the night. Somebody was lying on top me and rubbing himself on me. I was fully clothed."

He went on to describe the fear and confusion he felt during the encounter, explaining how he pretended to sleep because he did not know how to react.

Issuing an earnest request to parents watching, Harshad added, "I acted like I am sleeping. Nobody knew about the truth. The guy called me and said that he wanted to show me something and he lifted me up. He was picking me and doing things that I didn't understand. I didn't know how to question as I was scared. I want to request all parents to not leave their children with someone and also talk to their kids, even if they don't wish to tell things about their life."

Shivangi Joshi Also Reveals Past Sexual Abuse

The episode saw several contestants opening up about difficult past experiences as part of the reality show's secret-sharing task. Following Harshad's confession, his co-star Shivangi Joshi also broke down in tears as she revealed her own experience with childhood sexual abuse.

Shivangi shared that she was molested on multiple occasions by a man her mother had considered like a brother, before her parents intervened to protect her. A supportive Harshad was seen comforting and hugging Shivangi after she completed her revelation.

Lock Upp Season 2, hosted by Riteish Deshmukh and Farah Khan, continues to stream daily on Netflix as the show heads towards its grand finale.
