Suriya, the protagonist, is the highest-paid actor in Karappu because he plays double roles. According to reports, he charged about Rs 45 crore for the Tamil fantasy drama. Some sources even speculate that his entire take-home pay, including backend deals, may reach Rs 45–50 crore.

Trisha Krishnan is reportedly receiving roughly Rs 5 crore for Karuppu, which is consistent with her current status as one of the top leading actresses in Tamil films, according to industry rumours.

RJ Balaji plays both an actor and a director in Karuppu. According to reports, he makes about Rs 4 crore for both directing and acting, although there is speculation that his overall compensation as a director-actor may be higher.

Yogi Babu, a cinematographer-turned-actor who plays a significant supporting part in the film, is reportedly earning over Rs 2 crore. Industry rumours claim he is earning roughly Rs 1.5 crore. Natty Subramaniam, the actor-turned-cinematographer, plays a significant part in the narrative. According to industry reports, he is receiving a fee of about Rs 1.5 crore for his role.
