Jana Nayagan Box Office Collection Day 7: On Wednesday (Day 7), Jana Nayagan earned its lowest collection to date following a successful first weekend and a blockbuster opening. Nevertheless, Thalapathy Vijay's Tamil movie has made over Rs 255 crore globally and Rs 149.50 crore net in India. H Vinoth-directed Jana Nayagan also stars Bobby Deol, Mamitha Baiju, and Pooja Hegde, who play significant parts.

Jana Nayagan Box Office Collection Day 7

Jana Nayagan collected Rs 6.10 crore across 10359 shows on Day 7, as per Sacnilk. This brings the total collection to Rs 149.50 crore (net) and Rs 174.63 crore (gross) in India.

Jana Nayagan's Tamil version continued to be the largest contributor, earning an estimated Rs 4.60 crore with 22% occupancy across 4,845 shows. The Hindi version brought almost Rs 1 crore from 4406 shows with 9% occupancy, while the Telugu version contributed about Rs 50 lakh from 1108 shows with 15% occupancy.

The movie opened strong with Rs 42.70 crore across 13067 shows in India. On the second day, it witnessed a drop, earning Rs 21.15 crore. On the third day and the fourth day, Jana Nayagan minted Rs 28.90 crore and 32 crore, respectively.

The numbers began dropping during weekdays. On the first Monday, it brought Rs 10.65 crore across 10,413 shows. Jana Nayagan declined further on Day 7 after collecting Rs 8 crore on the sixth day.

About Jana Nayagan

Jana Nayagan centres on Thalapathy Vetri Kondan, a former police officer who takes on the role of foster father to Viji, a little child who has lost her father. They discover a criminal network behind a toy import company as he assists her in realising her late parents' ambition of becoming an officer.

Then, while defending his beloved daughter, Vetri Kondan must confront perilous enemies from his past. 

Jana Nayagan was originally intended to be Vijay's farewell to his fans before the elections, and it is reportedly his last movie as an actor. With a reported budget of Rs 500 crore, KVN Productions is backing the movie
