Ashneer Grover Biopic: According to recent reports, Aamir Khan and Shraddha Kapoor are set to share the screen for the first time in an upcoming biopic based on the life of controversial entrepreneur and BharatPe co-founder, Ashneer Grover. The project, which is currently in its pre-production phase, marks a significant collaboration between the 61-year-old Aamir Khan and 39-year-old Shraddha Kapoor.
While Aamir Khan is currently focused on promoting his latest production Ek Din, featuring his son Junaid Khan, he has reportedly given the go-ahead for this new venture. According to a report in Mid-Day, "Aamir has read it and loved it; he is doing this film."

Meanwhile, the film will be helmed by Rahul Mody, marking his directorial debut. Rahul Mody is a writer known for hits like Pyaar Ka Punchnama and Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar. Interestingly, Rahul Mody has been developing this screenplay for three years. Shraddha Kapoor is reported to play the role of Madhuri Jain Grover, Ashneer’s wife and the former Head of Controls at BharatPe.
Additionally reports suggest that Shraddha Kapoor’s involvement isn't a recent development. "She has seen the screenplay developed from up close," report revealed. The plot of the movie is expected to dive deep into the controversies surrounding the misuse of company funds and Ashneer Grover’s eventual exit from his firm.

Ashneer Grover, who became a household name after Shark Tank India, has previously hinted at a cinematic adaptation of his life. Following the success of his autobiography, he tweeted, "While I have even more intense stories (stranger than fiction) for Doglapan 2.0, we are busy working on the MOVIE for now. Stay tuned."

Shraddha Kapoor And Aamir Khan's Upcoming Projects
Shraddha Kapoor was last seen in 2024 hit Stree 2. She is currently gearing up for her upcoming movie Eetha which is a biopic on Laxman Utekar and explored the story of Pandharpur-born Tamasha artist Vithabai Bhau Mang Narayangaonkar. She is also set to star in fantasy film Naagin.
On the other hand, alongside backing Ek Din, Aamir Khan is reportedly working on a biopic on Dadasaheb Phalke.
