The Film Federation of India (FFI) has officially selected the Marathi thriller Gondhal as India's official submission for the Best International Feature Film category at the 99th Academy Awards (Oscars 2027).
Gondhal becomes the 4th Marathi film ever selected as India's official Oscar submission, following Shwaas (2004), Harishchandrachi Factory (2009), and Court (2015).
