Kirti Kulhari Fraud News: Bollywood actress Kirti Kulhari has lost Rs 2.44 lakh in a cyber scam involving unauthorised foreign transactions. The Amboli Police Station in Mumbai registered a case against unknown perpetrators after the 43-year-old actor lodged an official complaint.
The incident took place on the night of July 24 while she was travelling to a multiplex cinema in Andheri West, Mumbai.
Kirti Kulhari Falls Victim To Credit Card Fraud In Mumbai
While on her way to the cinema,Kirti Kulhari received an automated bank alert on her mobile phone. The message informed her of a transaction of $2,525 made to Aeromexico Airlines via her credit card.
Surprised by the alert, the Pink movie actress immediately contacted her bank's customer helpline to report the suspicious activity. Bank representatives checked her account details and discovered that four separate unauthorised transactions had taken place.
In total, the fraudsters transactioned more than Rs 2.43 lakh. To prevent further financial loss, bank officials immediately blocked the credit card.

Kirti Kulhari Makes Police Complaint After Online Fraud
According to reports in ABP News, Preliminary investigations by the Amboli Police suggest that physical theft of the card did not occur. Kirti Kulhari confirmed to the police that her card PIN and password were kept confidential and were never shared with anyone.
Consequently, cybercrime investigators suspect that her credit card information was stolen through digital means, such as spyware or malware on her mobile phone or online account.
Cyber experts and Mumbai Police are currently examining her transaction history, bank reference numbers, and digital trails to trace the criminals responsible for the theft.
