Riteish Deshmukh’s Strong Reaction On Baba Bageshwar Remark On Chhatrapati Shivaji

Taking to social media platform X, Riteish shared a powerful message in Marathi. Though he did not mention any individual, his post clearly expressed anger over remarks that he felt disrespected Shivaji Maharaj’s legacy. The actor described such statements as unacceptable and deeply upsetting.

Actor’s Emotional Statement

Explaining his feelings, Riteish wrote, “When someone comes along and spews some distorted nonsense about our cherished deity, as a Shiv-premi and Shiv-bhakt, this is unacceptable and infuriating. Such futile attempts to belittle the legacy will not be tolerated at all (sic).”

He further added, “But just as the mountain ranges of the Sahyadri have existed for millions of years before, so too will that one name endure for crores of years in the future. And that name is of the Kshatriya lineage, the Lord of the Throne, the Emperor of Emperors, Chhatrapati Maharaj.”

I am tired and need rest for a while, as I cannot continue like this anymore."

However, after getting so much backlash Baba Bageshwar made a statement saying he feels extremely sorry but his words were twisted by some people in social media.
