Dhurandhar 3 Release Update: Following the record-breaking success of Dhurandhar and Dhurandhar 2 The Revenge, it appears the makers are not ready to say goodbye to the franchise just yet. While rumours of a third part have been swirling, co-producer Jyoti Deshpande of Jio Studios recently gave fans a reason to celebrate. She confirmed that the team is working on something special.
Dhurandhar 3 Release Date Update
In a recent conversation with Bollywood Hungama, Dhurandhar producer shared, “We’re not done with Dhurandhar yet. We’ll hopefully have a surprise for the audience later this year. There’s something up our sleeves." This comment has sparked intense speculation about whether Ranveer Singh will return for a third film or if a spin-off is in the works.
Despite the producer's positive update, actor Rakesh Bedi, who played Jameel Jamali, previously downplayed the idea of a direct sequel. Speaking to Zoom, veteran Bollywood actor Rakesh Bedi said, “I don’t think a third part will happen. But Dhurandhar is a franchise, and it can be made with some other actors at any given point of time. The story ends with the spy going back to his nation."
While the actors and producers seem to have different views, the massive box office numbers suggest that the Dhurandhar universe is far from over.

Dhurandhar Part 1 Ending Explained
Dhurandhar follows the story of Hamza Ali Mazar (Ranveer Singh), a man who becomes the right-hand man of a dangerous crime lord in Karachi. For most of the movie, he seems like a loyal criminal. However, the final moments deliver a shocking twist.
It is revealed that Hamza is actually an Indian man named Jaskirat Singh Rangi. He was a death-row inmate who was secretly recruited by IB Director Ajay Sanyal (R Madhavan) to become a spy. The film ends on a cliffhanger as Jaskirat discovers the emotional and physical cost of his secret life.
Dhurandhar 2 The Revenge Ending Explained
In Dhurandhar 2 the story becomes more emotional. After finishing his mission, Jaskirat (now referred to as the asset) travels back to his hometown, Pathankot, after twenty years. He finds his mother and sister, who have long believed he was dead.
In a heartbreaking scene, he watches them from a distance. They look happy and peaceful, and Jaskirat realizes that revealing he is alive might only bring them danger and pain. He decides not to enter the house, choosing to protect them by staying dead. The film ends with him standing alone, caught between his past and an uncertain future, having left his family in both Pakistan and India behind.
