Sunita Ahuja reflected on her poignant 14-year reunion with her nephew, Krushna Abhishek and his wife, Kashmera Shah. She said that meeting their children for the first time—her grandchildren, Rayaan and Krishaang—made the occasion very special. The family's reunion at Laughter Chefs Unlimited Entertainment transformed a humorous episode into a moment of closure.

Sunita Ahuja disclosed that she didn't want to carry the weight of the rift with her for 14 years in a conversation with Mid Day. She also mentioned how happy she was to finally meet Krushna and Kashmera's kids.

Sunita Ahuja said, "I finally reunited with Krushna and Kashmera. Vipul came to me twice, thrice inviting me to the show. I had spoken to Kashmera and Krushna earlier, but then I decided to do a surprise appearance, they were not informed that I was going. It was really nice to see them, they are my kids only."

Govinda's wife added, "It has been 14 years to the rift. I didn't want to keep this burden in my heart so I decided to forgive them. I was so happy to see my grandchildren for the first time. They are so sweet and my heart was so happy seeing how they look like me. They are so good looking and god bless them."

Additionally, Sunita Ahuja talked about the fallout that prevented Krushna from appearing on Kapil Sharma's show. She said that while she was really hurt and upset at the time, she has since moved past it. Sunita expressed love for Krushna, Kashmera, and her grandchildren, emphasising that family is her number one focus these days.

Krushna was taken aback when Sunita unexpectedly entered the show. The lighthearted moment soon got emotional. It was a heartfelt moment as Kashmera expressed her apologies for the past and asked for forgiveness. She also got to meet Krushna's kids during the cooking and family time portion of the 'Mami Day' segment.
