King Teaser And Release Date Out: The wait is officially over for fans of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan. On Friday, April 24, 2026, the makers of the highly anticipated film King finally confirmed when the movie will hit the big screen. In a move that has thrilled the film industry, a new teaser was released alongside the announcement that the project will be a major Christmas release.

Shared by Red Chillies Entertainment on social media, the Instagram post stated, "A ROAR loud enough to shake the KINGdom. #KING arriving on 24.12.2026. #ItsKINGTime" The newly released teaser offers a fresh glimpse into the high-octane world of the movie. Shah Rukh Khan appears in a fierce new avatar, sporting a rugged look while performing dangerous stunts across beautiful, stylised landscapes.

King Movie Cast, Crew And Plot Details

Directed by Siddharth Anand, who previously worked with the actor on the blockbuster Pathaan, the film is more than just another action flick. It marks the significant Bollywood debut of Shah Rukh’s daughter, Suhana Khan. The father-daughter duo sharing the screen for the first time is expected to be the film’s biggest draw. Beyond the lead pair, the film also stars, Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Rani Mukerji, Anil Kapoor, Arshad Warsi, Jaideep Ahlawat, Jackie Shroff, Raghav Juyal and Abhay Verma.

While the film is expected to be an action-packed thriller, Shah Rukh Khan has hinted that there is more to the story. During his birthday celebrations in November 2025, the actor shared a key detail about the plot. He confirmed that his character will have a romantic storyline with Deepika Padukone, making it another collaboration for the popular Pathaan and Jawan pair.
