According to Kpop Herald, the announcement was made just five hours in advance; still, an estimated 50,000 fans filled the area outside the palace to see the group, according to local coordination officials. The crowd grew rapidly as news of the visit spread. Many fans expressed a deep emotional connection with the group, with some travelling long distances just for the chance to see them, even briefly.
