Batwara 1947 will directly clash with the thriller Awarapan 2, starring Emraan Hashmi and Disha Patani. This marks the second time Sunny Deol and Emraan Hashmi face off in theatres. Nearly two decades ago in 2007, Emraan Hashmi's Awarapan released on the exact same weekend as Sunny Deol's family drama Apne.
