Alia Bhatt is reportedly stepping into the dark world of Tumbbad 2 with a significant role. As per reports, the actress has already started shooting for the much-awaited sequel. Even though her schedule is said to be short, her character will play a major part in shaping the storyline and could continue into the third installment of the franchise.

According to a report by Pinkvilla, Alia Bhatt has been cast in an important role in Tumbbad 2. She is expected to shoot for around 20 days. Despite the limited duration, her role is said to be central to the film’s narrative and future storyline.

A source quoted by Pinkvilla said, “Alia has a power-packed role in Tumbbad 2. While it’s a 20-day shoot, the character is extremely important and directly sets up the events of the third film. She loved the script, and it was a no-brainer for her.” 

Earlier Reports and Casting Buzz

Earlier, a report by Mid-Day had suggested that the makers were considering Alia for a cameo. However, even that short role was described as crucial, requiring strong screen presence, which she is known for delivering.
