Aakhri Sawal Box Office Collection Day 2: Sanjay Dutt-starrer Aakhri Sawal finally released on May 15 after facing CBFC hurdles. Helmed by National Award-winning filmmaker Abhijeet Mohan Warang, the film revolves around a professor who has been accused by his student of bias after he rejects the student's RSS thesis. The political movie received positive reviews from audiences, but couldn't convert them into box-office success.

Aakhri Sawal made Rs 48 lakh at the box office across 2,035 shows in India, according to Sacnilk. The political movie made Rs 0.73 lakh in 1894, on its second day. On Saturday, Aakhri Sawal recorded an overall Hindi occupancy of 11%.
Aakhri Sawal's two-day box office collection stood at Rs 1.13 crore.

According to trade experts in general, Aakhri Sawal's box office figures are disappointing, especially in light of rumours that the movie was produced on a budget of between Rs 30 and Rs 40 crore. In order to boost its box office prospects, the movie will need to make a big splash on Sunday, given its dismal collections thus far.
