Rupali Ganguly Reacts To Women’s Reservation Bill Delay

Rupali Ganguly openly criticised the decision, saying the bill was not just a proposal but a right for women. She shared a video on Instagram and expressed that in a country where women are worshipped as goddesses, denying them equal political representation is unfair. ‘It Was Our Right’: Rupali Ganguly On Women's Reservation Bill 

Referring to her popular show Anupamaa, Rupali highlighted how women are often told to limit themselves to household roles. The actress wrote in the caption, “Anupama ne apni zindagi mein bahut baar suna: Tum sirf ghar sambhalo. Aur kal Parliament mein bhi, 70 crore auraton ko yahi sunaya gaya. Hum bhoolte nahi. Hum maafi nahi dete jaldi. Aur hum vote karna bhi jaante hain.” 

Her statement hinted at the power of women voters and their ability to influence future political outcomes.
