Kangana Ranut Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata Movie Review: Kangana Ranaut’s highly anticipated emotional thriller, Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata, has finally arrived in cinemas. Inspired by true events, the drama shifts the narrative focus away from the armed forces to highlight the unsung healthcare heroes of Mumbai’s Cama Hospital during the tragic 26/11 terror attacks. Written and directed by Manoj Tapadia, the film depicts the terrifying night when nurses, ward boys, cleaners, and medical staff stood firmly between heavily armed terrorists and hundreds of vulnerable patients.

Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata Twitter Review

According to the first wave of reviews on X (formerly Twitter), the film is striking a powerful chord with audiences. Early viewers on social media have shared overwhelmingly positive feedback, with one user writing, "My review of #BharatBhhagyaViddhaata. Amazing movie."

Audiences on X have heavily praised the film’s nail-biting suspense, particularly the sequences where the terrorists infiltrate the hospital building. Kangana Ranaut’s restrained performance as the brave nurse has emerged as a major talking point, proving her ability to elevate intense, character-driven scripts.

Who Is The Real-Life Heroine Behind Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata?

Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata specifically honors the extraordinary real-life story of Anjali Kulthe, a brave staff nurse who was on duty at Cama Hospital on 26 November 2008. When the Pakistan-based terror group Lashkar-e-Taiba launched their coordinated assault on the city, Anjali Kulthe heard gunshots and immediately noticed the danger.

Recalling the exact moment the crisis began, Anjali Kulthe stated, "Looking out of the window, we could see two terrorists running and the police firing at them. Then the terrorists vaulted over the low gate and entered the hospital premises. I saw they had shot the two security guards, who were lying in a heap. When they spotted us at the window, they opened fire at us and one of our workers got injured. I took her to the casualty and informed everyone that the terrorists had entered the hospital."

Instead of fleeing to save her own life, Anjali Kulthe gathered 20 pregnant women and hid them safely inside a small pantry, ensuring all lights were switched off and mobile phones were silenced. When a high-risk patient suddenly went into labour during the fierce gunbattle, Anjali Kulthe took charge and guided her to the delivery room. The woman successfully gave birth to a healthy baby girl.

Reflecting on the heavy emotional weight of the tragedy, the real-life hero Anjali Kulthe added, "not a single one of us who worked at the hospital - doctors, nurses or other staff will ever forget that night." She further expressed, "The way they threw hand grenades, opened fire, killed people, none of us can ever forget it. For the whole country, it was a night of sadness and horror."
