Madhyamik Result 2026 Highlights: WB Board Class 10 Exam Result Out At wbresults.nic.in, Kalimpong Tops Districts, 86.83% Pass Rate

The data shared by the officials suggests that 131 candidates have secured top 10 positions in the merit list. These toppers belong from 19 different districts of West Bengal. Since some positions have been secured by many students, the merit list has expanded significantly to accommodate all top scorers, highlighting intense competition.

Kolkata has secured 92.31% success rate, registering an impressive overall pass percentage among other districts across the state.

The overall pass percentage, this year, stands at 86.83%. Last year it was 86.56%.

Among districts, Kalimpong tops with 95.10% pass rate. The district has once again shown its exceptional  academic performance compared to other regions of West Bengal.,

The press conference has officially started. The Board will now announce Class 10th results.  During this ongoing briefing, the board is going to share crucial data, including the state's overall pass percentage, gender-wise performance trends, and the official merit list of the top-performing students. After this concludes, the official links will become active. ,

Students must have the following things ready to access their results without any delay as soon as the official links become active. ,

Over 9.71 lakhs students had appeared for the Class 10th exams conducted between February 2 to February 12, 2026 at more than 2,600 centres across the state. ,

The press conference will begin at 9:30 today to announce the WBBSE Madhyamik Pariksha Result 2026. Preparations are underway. ,

After the results are declared, schools can collect their WB Madhyamik marksheets and certificates from respective camp offices from 10:30 AM onwards today. Students must stay in touch with their school authorities and collect their original certificates in time. ,

Here’s how you can download your provisional marksheet from the official portals:

Step 1: Visit the official portals at wbresults.nic.in or wbbse.wb.gov.in.

Step 2: On the homepage, click on the “Madhyamik Pariksha Result 2026” link.

Step 3: The login window will appear. Enter your roll number and date of birth.

Step 4: Submit to view your results.

Step 5: Download the marksheet and check your subject-wise marks.  ,

The Board will announce the Class 10th results today at 9:30 AM via the press conference. Post that, the result links will become active at 10:15 AM for students to download their online marksheet.
