UPSC CDS 1 Answer Key 2026: How to Calculate Marks?

1. English & GK: +0.83 marks for each correct answer
2. Mathematics: Each correct answer awards +1.0 mark.
3. Negative Marking: 1/3rd of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted.
4. English/ GK Penalty: -0.27
5. Maths Penalty: -0.33
6. Total Score = (No. of Correct Answers * Marks per Question) - (No. of Wrong Answers * Penalty)
