UP Board Scrutiny Form 2026: The Board of Secondary Education, Uttar Pradesh (UP Board), has announced the commencement of the online application process for the scrutiny (re-evaluation) of answer sheets for the 2026 High School (Class 10) and Intermediate (Class 12) examinations. Students can easily apply through the official website of the Board of Secondary Education, Uttar Pradesh: upmsp.edu.in.

A total of 1,343,524 boys and 1,257,857 girls appeared for this examination. The pass percentage for boys stood at 87.30%, while girls performed better with a pass percentage of 93.76%, which is 6.46% higher than that of the boys.

The pass percentage for institutional candidates was 90.51%, whereas for private candidates, it was 66.67%; thus, the performance of institutional students was observed to be significantly better.

In the Intermediate Examination 2026, the overall pass percentage was 80.38%. Approximately 24.86 lakh students appeared for this examination, out of whom about 19.98 lakh students were declared successful.

UP Board Scrutiny Form 2026: Official Update

The application process for the scrutiny (re-evaluation) of UP Board Class 10 and 12 answer sheets has officially begun. Students can apply through the official website and, by depositing the prescribed fee, have their marks re-verified.

Applications Accepted Until May 17, 2026:

Online applications for scrutiny have now opened. The deadline for submitting applications is May 17, 2026. A fee of Rs 500 has been fixed for each subject; separate fees must be paid for both the written and practical components of the examination.

Submission of the Application Form and Challan is Mandatory After Applying:

After submitting their online application, students are required to deposit the prescribed fee into the government treasury using a fee challan. Subsequently, it is mandatory to take a printout of the application form and send it, along with a copy of the challan, to the concerned office via Registered Post by May 17, 2026. Please note that applications submitted offline or received late will not be accepted.

UP Board 10th, 12th Scrutiny 2026: Steps for Scrutiny Application

Step 1: Visit the website of the Board of Secondary Education, Uttar Pradesh (Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad), at upmsp.edu.in.

Step 2: Now, click on the “Scrutiny Application 2026” link.

Step 3: Enter your Roll Number and select your Class (10th/12th) and Subject.

Step 4: Fill out the application form with accurate details.

Step 5: Generate a challan for the fee of Rs 500 per subject and deposit it at a bank or treasury.

Step 6: Download and take a printout of the filled application form and a copy of the challan. 

Send these documents to the concerned Regional Office via Registered Post by May 17, 2026.
