Rising Cybercrime Threat During Board Exams:
UPMSP noted that cyber fraud cases tend to increase during the board examination and result period. Fraudsters often target anxious students and parents by promising unrealistic solutions, such as improving marks or leaking question papers.
The board clarified that such claims are completely false and no external person can alter board examination results. Students should rely only on official information released by the board.
Advisory for Students and Parents:
Students have been asked to follow some important precautions to stay safe from cyber fraud. They should not respond to unknown phone calls, emails or messages claiming to provide exam-related services.
The board has also advised students never to share personal information, passwords, or bank details with unknown individuals. Sharing such information may lead to financial fraud or misuse of personal data.

Reporting Suspicious Activities:
Students who receive suspicious calls or messages should immediately report them to their school authorities or the District Inspector of Schools (DIOS). They can also contact the national cybercrime helpline number 1930 for assistance.
UPMSP has assured that strict legal action will be taken against individuals involved in such fraud under the provisions of the Information Technology Act and other relevant laws. Students are encouraged to stay vigilant and depend only on official updates regarding their board examination results.
