Candidates can download their hall ticket by logging in to the official portal at ugcnet.nta.nic.in with their registration number and password. For all exam dates, NTA has released the admit cards. UGC NET June Exam To Start From June 22
The UGC NET June 2026 examination will be held on June 22, 23, 24, 25, 29, and 30 in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode at various exam centres across the country. The examination serves as an eligibility test for candidates willing to qualify for Assistant Professor positions, Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), and admission to PhD programmes in Indian universities and colleges. Additionally, this year, two new academic subjects have been added, namely, Forestry and Statistics, bringing the total number of disciplines to 87.
Moreover, NTA has added four new regional centres in the North Eastern Region across Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, and Meghalaya to manage such a huge number of applicants.
