SBI Apprentice Recruitment 2026: The official notification has been released today, May 19, 2026, under the advertisement number CRPD/APPR/2026-27/07 for the engagement of 7150 apprentices under the Apprenticeship Act 1961. The Central Recruitment & Promotion Department, Corporate Centre, Mumbai, issued the notification. Along with the notification, the online registration process has also begun from today and will remain open till June 8, 2026. Eligible candidates must apply online through the SBI apprenticeship portal. The examination schedule will be notified later. Candidates will be selected for a 1-year training period through this recruitment drive.

SBI Apprentice Recruitment 2026: Who’s Eligible?

Candidates applying for this recruitment drive must have a graduation degree from a recognised university/college. They must be between the age limit of 20 to 28 years, calculated as on April 30, 2026. For reserved category candidates, age relaxation is granted under the government rules. Candidates must meet all the eligibility parameters before applying for the exam. Failure to do so will result in the cancellation of your candidature.

SBI Apprentice Recruitment 2026: How To Apply?

Here’s how you can register for the SBI Apprenticeship Exam 2026:

Step 1: Visit the official portal at sbi.co.in/web/careers.

Step 2: Under the current openings, select the “ENGAGEMENT OF APPRENTICES UNDER THE APPRENTICES ACT, 1961” link.

Step 3: Click on the registration tab. Fill out your details.

Step 4: Upload your SBI Apprentice handwritten declaration, photograph and signature in the required format.

Step 5: Pay the application fee and submit.

SBI Apprentice Recruitment 2026: Selection Process

Selection for engagement of SBI apprentices would be based on the basis following exams.

(i) Online Written Test and

(ii) Test of Local Language

Shortlisted candidates will then proceed to the document verification and medical examination.
