PSEB 12th Result 2026 Highlights: Punjab Board +2 Result Out At pseb.ac.in; Overall Pass Rate 91.46%, Three Girls Scores 500/500 Marks

Rural students slightly outperformed urban candidates in the Punjab Board Class 12 examinations this year. According to the Punjab School Education Board, 1,49,029 students from rural areas appeared for the exams.

Out of them, 1,36,559 students passed successfully, taking the rural pass percentage to 91.63 per cent. The figures indicate strong academic performance by students from villages and smaller towns across Punjab.

Three girls topped the PSEB 12th exams with perfect 100% scores. Supneet Kaur, Suhani Chauhan, and Divanshi shared the merit list's peak, each securing 500 out of 500 marks.

The Punjab School Education Board has announced the Class 12 Result 2026, recording an overall pass percentage of 91.46 percent this year.

Out of the 56,456 students who appeared, 55,593 passed, leading to a strong pass percentage of 98.47%.

This group had the largest turnout with 165,457 students appearing; 145,179 students passed, resulting in a pass percentage of 87.74%.

Girls outperformed boys with a pass percentage of 94.73% (119,073 passed out of 125,695).

A total of 265,417 candidates appeared for the exam, with 242,755 passing, resulting in an overall pass percentage of 91.46%.

Out of 25,846 candidates from aided schools, 22,859 students passed, which represents a pass percentage of 88.44%.

The Board will declare the Punjab Board 12th result via a press conference. The press conference will be held by the Board officials, where, along with the results, the pass percentage, district-wise details and toppers' names will be shared.

After downloading the PSEB Class 12 result 2026 marksheet, students should save multiple copies for future use. The document is essential for college admissions, scholarships and competitive examinations.

In 2025, the Punjab School Education Board conducted the Class 12 board examinations for 2,84,452 students, out of which 2,64,662 candidates successfully cleared the exam.

While students can immediately download and view their marks online, the digital marksheet will only serve as a temporary document for reference purposes.

The original marksheets and certificates will later be distributed by respective schools after the board completes the documentation process.
