UPSC NDA 2 Answer Key 2026 Out: Download Provisional Answer Key At upsc.gov.in, Here’s How To Calculate Marks

NDA 2 Answer Key 2026: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) released the NDA II provisional answer key today, September 16, 2026. Once released, candidates who took the National Defence Academy and Naval Academy (NDA/NA) exam 2026 on September 13 can access the answer key PDF and response sheets from upsc.gov.in. Using the PDFs, applicants can check their qualifying status before the final declaration of the NDA 2 results 2026.

The written exam was held to grant eligible candidates admission to the National Defence Academy (NDA) and Indian Naval Academy Course. Notably, the answer key PDFs will be available for both sections of the written examination, including Mathematics and General Ability Test (GAT). While accessing the answer key. Candidates have to select the respective paper and check the answers.

Candidates can use the following steps to download the answer key from the official link. 

Step 1: Go to the official UPSC website at upsc.gov.in.

Step 2: On the homepage, browse the examination section and select the answer key link.

Step 3: Search for the  National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination (II), 2026.

Step 4: Click on the answer key link for Mathematics or GAT papers.

Step 5: Download the PDF and compare your recorded answers with the answer key.

How To Calculate Marks Using NDA 2 Answer Key 2026?

After downloading the answer key PDFs, candidates can use the official marking scheme to calculate their raw marks separately for the Mathematics and General Ability Test (GAT) papers. Since there is negative marking included, the total marks evaluated will be equal to:

Marks for correct answers − Negative marks for incorrect answers

To give you a reference, here’s an example:

If a candidate attempts 80 questions in Mathematics correctly, while 20 are incorrect, the estimated total will be (80 × 2.5) − (20 × 0.83) = 200 − 16.60 = 183.40 marks

The calculated marks are only an approximation and must not be considered final. The final answer key will be released soon after.

What After NDA 2 Answer Key Release?

The Commission will release the final answer key soon after the objection process concludes. Candidates who clear the written examination will become eligible for the next stages of the NDA 2 selection process. The final result and qualifying status will be based on the official evaluation and applicable selection rules.
