UGC NET 2026 Registration Deadline Extended: Those who have dreams to be appointed as assistant professors or want to apply for the Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), you need not worry. The application date for the next cycle of September 2026 has been extended by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Now candidates can apply online till October 31, 2026. There is no late fee for candidates applying online in the extended period.

Those who haven't applied earlier or were not able to fill their application forms for various reasons, this time is yours. Online applications for UGC NET 2026 will be accepted on the official UGC NET website: ugcnet.nta.nic.in.

UGC NET 2026: Application deadline for the new session is?

As per the latest announcement by the NTA, now the last date to fill application forms and pay examination fees has been extended till October 31. Application forms submission will continue up to 11:50 PM.
