RRB JE Registration 2026: The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) will conclude the registration process for the Junior Engineer (JE) recruitment exam 2026 on September 13, 2026. Candidates who have not yet registered must complete their application process via the respective regional RRB websites before the deadline. The Board opened the registration portal on August 14, 2026, under advertisement CEN No. 04/2026. The recruitment has been announced to fill a total of 4,029 vacancies across Junior Engineer (JE), Depot Material Superintendent (DMS), and Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant (CMA) posts. However, the exam schedule for the CBT, document verification, and medical verification will be notified in due course.

RRB JE Registration 2026: Key Dates

RRB JE registration 2026 began on August 14, 2026, and will continue till September 13, 2026. After the registration process ends, the authorities will open the application form correction window from September 16 to 25, 2026, allowing applicants to make changes to their application details.

How To Register For RRB Junior Engineer Exam 2026?

Following the given steps, candidates can complete their registration process before the deadline. 

Step 1: Go to the respective regional RRB website or rrbapply.gov.in.

Step 2: Select the registration link and enter basic details such as name, mobile number, and email address. You will get your registration credentials. 

Step 3: Those who have already registered in any previous RRB examination can use their existing login credentials. 

Step 4: Log in using the above credentials and complete the application form with mandatory fields. 

Step 5: Upload required documents and pay the application fee via online payment modes.

Step 6: Verify the details carefully and submit the application form. 

RRB Junior Engineer Registration Fee 2026

The registration fee for the general category is Rs 500. However,  SC, ST, Ex-Servicemen, PwBD, Female, Transgender, or EBC categories have to pay Rs 250. The registration fee must be paid using online payment modes such as credit/debit/UPI, etc. The registration will only be processed after successful fee payment.  

What Documents Are Required For RRB JE Registration 2026?

Candidates have to upload the following documents in the prescribed format during the registration process:

1. Scanned copy of a colour passport-size photograph and signature

2. Educational Marksheet And Certificates

3. Soft copy of valid ID proof such as Aadhaar, PAN, etc.

4. Category certificate

5.  Scribe details, applicable to eligible PwBD candidates only
