Tips for Parents and Students:
For Parents: Make sure that children stay indoors and away from windows, trees, electric poles, and flooded areas. Make arrangements for drinking water, dry food, medicines, flashlights and power banks, and store all necessary documents in a waterproof bag. Listen to all the news updates from the District Collector and India Meteorological Department, and go to the nearest shelter if the concerned authority instructs you to leave the place. Do not allow children to play outdoors and in streams.
For Students: Stay at home, do not play outside, and do not come in contact with the wires and floods. Make use of this break time for revision and studying at home, but follow the instructions of your parents and teachers first.
