Mumbai University Admission 2026-27: The University of Mumbai has extended the admission portal for various undergraduate and postgraduate programs such as BA, BCom, BSc, MA, MCom, MSc, MMS and MCA offered under its Centre for Distance and Online Education (CDOE) till September 30, 2026. Earlier, the admission portal was slated to be closed on August 31, 2026. With additional time, eligible candidates must submit their applications through the university’s official portal at mucdoeadm.samarth.edu.in before the deadline. 

The Centre for Distance and Online Education (CDOE) is a great opportunity for candidates who are unable to pursue higher education through the traditional method. The admissions are being conducted following the NEP guidelines.

How To Apply For Mumbai University CDOE Admissions 2026-27?

Candidates have to apply using the Mumbai University CDOE Admission Portal.

Step 1: Go to the admission portal at mucdoeadm.samarth.edu.in.

Step 2: Enter your email address and mobile number to register.

Step 3: Use the registered email ID to complete the application form. 

Step 4: Select the course, subjects, personal, and academic details. 

Step 5: Upload mandatory documents in the prescribed format and size. 

Step 6: Pay the required fees and submit the application form.

UG And PG Courses Offered Under CDOE

Under its CDOE, the University of Mumbai offers several undergraduate and postgraduate courses that candidates can pursue. UG courses include: 

1. BA programmes in subjects including History, Political Science, Sociology, Economics, Geography, Rural Development, Marathi, Hindi and English.

2. BCom in Accounting and Finance

3. BSc in Information Technology 

4. BSc in Computer Science. 

Candidates must read the eligibility criteria specified for each stream and apply accordingly.

The CDOE Postgraduate Courses Cover:

1. MA in History, Sociology, Economics, Political Science, Marathi, Hindi, English, Geography, Education, Communication and Journalism

2. MCom in Advanced Accountancy and Business Management

3. MSc in Mathematics, Information Technology and Computer Science

4. MMS and MCA programmes 

To apply for the PG courses, students must have a Bachelor’s degree with the required minimum qualifying marks from a recognized university. 

Diploma And Dual Degree Courses Are Also Available

Additionally, CDOE provides a postgraduate diploma in Financial Management and a diploma in School Management. Students can also apply for dual degree programmes through the centre. Currently, admissions to 2-year  Master of Management Studies (MMS) and Master of Computer Applications (MCA) programmes are underway. Candidates who get admission will be notified through the CDOE official website.
