Bihar STET 2026: Registration Deadline Extended Till September 22, Check Tentative Exam Date Here

Bihar STET 2026: The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has extended the registration deadline for the Secondary Teacher Eligibility Test (Bihar STET 2026) till September 22, 2026. Candidates willing to participate in the Bihar Teacher Recruitment (BPSC TRE 4) must complete the online application process via stetregistration.cbrt.co.in before the deadline. Previously, the registration deadline was fixed at September 15, 2026. 

The STET entrance test is mandatory for candidates willing to become secondary and senior secondary teachers in the Bihar government and aided schools. As per the latest update, the BSEB STET entrance examination 2026 is scheduled for the first week of November 2026.

How To Fill Bihar STET Application Form 2026?

Here’s how candidates can complete their registration process via the official link. 

Step 1: Go to the official website at stetregistration.cbrt.co.in.

Step 2: On the homepage, select the registration link and enter basic details to generate your user ID and password. 

Step 3: Using the above details, complete the application form with mandatory details.

Step 4: Upload documents in the prescribed format.

Step 5: Pay the application fee via online payment gateways.

Step 6: Verify the details carefully and submit the form.

BSEB STET Registration Fee 2026

The registration fee depends on the candidates’ category and the number of papers selected for the exam. The fee is non-refundable and must be paid using online payment modes such as debit/credit/UPI/etc. The fee details are as follows: 

Who’s Eligible For Bihar STET Exam 2026?

Candidates must have the following eligibility before applying for the BSEB STET entrance exam 2026:

1. Candidates must have a bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant subject with a minimum of 50 percent marks, as well as a B.Ed./M.Ed./B.A. B.Ed./B.Sc. B.Ed., etc., from an NCTE-approved institution.

2. Furthermore, the minimum age of a candidate must not be less than 21 years, and the maximum age must not be more than 37 years for male candidates and 40 years for female candidates. 

3. Candidates from reserved categories will be given age relaxation as per rules. Age will be calculated as of August 1, 2026.
