MSCE Pune Scholarship Result 2026 Out:  The Maharashtra State Council of Examination (MSCE), Pune, has officially declared the provisional results for the highly anticipated Pre-Upper Primary Scholarship Examination (Class 5) and Pre-Secondary Scholarship Examination (Class 8). Released on May 18, 2026, the interim scores have brought much-awaited clarity to lakhs of young candidates and parents across the state.

The competitive state-level assessments were successfully organised earlier this year on February 22, 2026, across thousands of designated testing venues.

Alongside the primary Class 5 (PUP) and Class 8 (PSS) state scholarship performance sheets, the council has simultaneously published the institutional selection data for several elite sub-tests. These include the specialised Government Vidyaniketan Entrance Examination, Tribal Vidyaniketan Entrance Examination, and the Vimukta Jati and Nomadic Tribes Vidyaniketan Entrance Examination.

To help institutions review their students' performance, the council has made the provisional data sheets accessible through school-level digital dashboards, facilitating quick evaluations before the final rankings are locked.

Online Mark Verification Protocol and Cutoff Deadlines

For students who find unexpected variations in their interim scores, the council has integrated an official digital scrutiny mechanism on the portal. The online application window for mark verification opened alongside the results on May 18 and is scheduled to close on May 27, 2026.

Dissatisfied candidates must submit their re-evaluation requests through their respective school portals by paying a nominal processing fee of Rs. 50 per paper via online payment modes. Board officials have strictly clarified that physical or offline applications sent via post will be rejected.

Correction Window for Student Profiles and Institutional Records

To prevent administrative discrepancies in the final award certificates, a limited correction window has been provided up to May 27, 2026. School heads can use their institutional dashboards to rectify typos in a student's personal details, such as their legal name, surname, or parents' names.

Furthermore, if there are structural errors in the original School Information Form, specifically regarding the school’s geographic location category (Urban/Rural) or curriculum type, institutions must submit a formal, signed request letter detailing the changes.

This request must be emailed directly to the official helpdesk at puppsshelpdesk@gmail.com before the May 27 deadline. The final consolidated merit list will be processed and announced globally within 30 days after all incoming data correction and verification claims are fully settled.
